PhytoCellTecTM AlpRose

PhytoCellTecTM Alp Rose is an extract from the plant stem cells of the Rhododendron ferrugineum, a perennial plant that grows at very high altitudes, exceeding 2000 m in the Alps, in extreme climate conditions: high temperature variations, UV, and dryness.

Obtained through biotechnology, plant stem cell extracts maintain the vitality and longevity of skin stem cells, stimulating epidermal regeneration; they restore the epidermal barrier function and delay the aging process.

The skin is visibly rejuvenated.

In vitro study


  • Epidermal stem cells were divided into 4 lots. The 3rd and 4th lots were treated with Alp Rose stem cell extract.
  • The 2nd and 4th lots were radiated with UVA+ UVB at 450kj/m2.
  • Determination of colony-forming efficacy (CFE)


  • CFE had values 75% higher when Alp Rose extract 0.15% was present

Alp Rose protects the skin against environmental aggressor factors: stress induced by solar radiation, cold, wind

Study performed on a lot of 22 volunteers, phenotype II, average age of 41, during a 16-day ski holiday in the Alps, at a high altitude.

Applications : 3 times/day on half of the face with:

  • Sun cream SPF 30 (placebo)
  • Sun cream SPF 30 and 0.4%PhytocellTec Alp Rose
  • Duration: 16 days
